Gessobord comes ready to paint featuring a professional quality acid-free acrylic gesso ground that is lightly textured for good adhesion, titanium white for enhanced clarity of color. Perfect for oils, acrylics, alkyds and water-based oils. It's delicate enough for glazing, fluid brush strokes and tight detail, and tough enough for palette knife painting.

The cradled version of Gessobord features ¾" or deep 2" supports that are glued flush with the back edge of the panel. The cradle provides extra support while giving the panel depth and dimension, making it ready to hang on the wall. The birch plywood cradles can be left unfinished or treated easily with wood stain, gesso or paint.
