Located on the east side of US-29 (Georgia Ave) at the intersection of Georgia Ave and Silver Spring Ave in between Hertz Car Rental and the Benjamin Moore Paint store.
Metered parking is available on the street directly in front of the store as well as the surrounding streets.
The public parking lot behind Plaza will be permanently closed starting September 30, 2016 as the county builds a new parking garage in its place. You may still find metered street parking in the area and metered parking at the nearby Fenton Street Garage (Garage 4). This garage is one block south of the closed surface lot. Access the Fenton Street Garage from Silver Spring Avenue or Fenton Street. Walk west on Silver Spring Avenue towards Georgia and turn north (right) to walk towards the store. We are three blocks from the Silver Spring Metro (Red line). From Silver Spring Metro, walk east on Wayne Ave until you get to Georgia Ave then make a right and walk down to Silver Spring Ave. We are on the left side of the street.

This demo is led by artist Jim Minet. Jim lives and maintains a studio on Long Island in New York and his work has been exhibited at the Firefly Artists Gallery in Northport, NY, The Art Students League of NY and the Vanderbilt Planetarium. He has been published in Paintworks Magazine and Newsday and is also affiliated with many companies in the art materials industry conducting frequent demonstrations and workshops. Jim studied at The Art Students League in Manhattan. In addition painting, and representing companies in the fine art materials industry.
