Conté Sketching Pencils feature a larger diameter than many other sketching pencils and are great for drawing, sketching and outlining. Pierre Noire pencils have a soft, smooth lead and produce dense, deep blacks. Along with Sanguine, Sepia and White they can be used for sketches or finished work and are ideal for portrait and landscape drawing. These pencils have extremely rich colors with an added abrasive for easier stumping. They may be sharpened with a razor blade or knife.
