Fredrix Pro Series Belgian Linen Canvases are considered by many to be the epitome of surfaces for oil painting. Among the most archival oil painting supports, this linen canvas is made with the finest pure Belgian linen and standard 7/8" profile stretchers, and is stapled on the back. The stretcher bars are kiln-dried for strength to prevent warping. Extra bracing is added to ensure that this canvas will not warp over time. It is primed with acid-free, acrylic titanium gesso, and is perfect for oil, alkyd and acrylic paints. Canvas weight is 11oz primed (5.5oz raw/unprimed).
