R&F Encaustic Colors are ready-to-use, heavily pigmented encaustic cakes. This versatile paint is made from 100% Pharmaceutical Grade beeswax, damar resin and pigments. Encaustic colors are applied in a molten state and then fused, or re-melted, to achieve a wide range of effects including glass-like smoothness and rich impasto textures.
